This performance underscores the company’s extensive market reach and operational efficiency. Caractère Ltée reported a turnover of Rs 431.3 million and a PBT of Rs 25.5 million, showcasing significant market presence and profitability.

Performance Plastics Ltd achieved a turnover of Rs 307.1 million with a PBT of Rs 49.6 million, reflecting strong financial health and market performance. Editions Le Printemps Ltée demonstrated impressive results with a turnover of Rs 220.5 million and the highest PBT of Rs 68.7 million, highlighting exceptional profitability. T-Printers Company Limited posted a turnover of Rs 202.3 million and a PBT of Rs 23.3 million, indicating solid business strategies and financial stability.

Globally, the printing industry in 2023-2024 is experiencing significant trends and challenges. Advancements in digital printing technologies and sustainable printing practices are driving growth. According to Smithers’ 2023 report on “The Future of Global Printing to 2027”, the industry is shifting towards eco-friendly solutions, reducing environmental impact and enhancing production efficiency. In the post-pandemic era, the African region is focusing on localizing printing services to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

The International Trade Centre’s 2023 analysis emphasizes that regional integration and investment in digital technologies are crucial for the sector’s development.
